Hello Everyone
My card today was made for our GNephew, a fanatical Rugby player and a certified Referee of our National game. I decided to make a fun Rugby card for him but, had to find inspiration on the web, I was in a definite lack of mojo phase. I blame the rain we were having when I made it!
In Photoshop, I made the simple rugby posts and added the Welsh Rugby ball shape adding a Welsh flag to it and colouring it to look like a rugby ball. A touch of grass with PS brushes. The sentiment was computer generated with the images. again it was something I saw on a card on the web, changed slightly. All printed and layered onto red card, I also 3D'd the ball.
Oh this is brilliant Faith and am sure it will be well recieved. You nailed it.xx

ReplyDeleteHi Faith Just wanted to say your cards have got better and better. I know it's been a very long while but I got bought a new cutting machine for Christmas and googled to see what I used to make and your blog appeared and I thought I would just drop by and say I love what you are doing. Hopefully, you remember me Leza @ (Krewella Kreations) xxx
ReplyDeleteYour inspiration search paid off big-time with such a fun card for your grand nephew! I love the Welsh flag image - I used to make those flags when I worked at the flag factory many years ago :)
ReplyDeleteHiho, Faith! Hope you are keeping warm! We are trying to, lol. Wowzers, that looks official! LOL I always get rugby and soccer mixed up because only in America we play football with a rugby ball, why lord why lol. At any rate, your computer skills are a source of envy to me, love how you can just set out to replicate something you saw but with your own spin. Have a great weekend! xoxo
