Hi Everyone, I thought I would show you another card I did for the craft club ladies. I bought the Pineapple die for 24 pence in a sale. A great little die and that's how the card started. I cut it out of white card and coloured with marker pens, then cut the shapes in orange and green to back it. I glued the bottom half onto orange card and the top onto green and cut it around the pineapple. Some clear sparkle and it was just about done.

I had a cut file of specs, so cut 6 of them with the Silhouette and glazed the lens part.

I used some pineapple paper from my files and cut it into 6, then cut 6 out of orange card to layer the paper. I made a banner shape and added the sentiment in Photoshop, I took the shape and sentiment to my Silhouette and cut 6 out, then cut 6 shadow layers.

The ladies will glue and put all the paper layers together and die cut and colour the pineapple and add the sunglasses if they want. I hope this is a good way for them. We'll see, I'll let you know how it went.

sentiment - Create with TLC Creations
orange card - B&M

I also designed a card in Photoshop, printed it and the ladies can cut it out and decoupage.
I kept it quite simple for them. This is it.

this is the full layout, you are more than welcome to use it for yourself.
If you do use it I would love to see what you did.
it's sized to an A4 and will make a 6 x 6 card,
just copy and add to a landscape A4 size in any program you have.
I hope it works for you.

EDIT - The class was Wednesday, I was watching the weather forecast in the night and I said to Hubby, they haven't shown Wednesday's weather, rewind to see it. He said it's Wednesday today! I had missed the class! I rang the lady and she said, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does that. I felt so very bad. However she said only 3 were there and one of them is a digital card maker, print and fussy cut and add layers. So they were Ok.

Well I have lots for next week and the week after now.
Keep sane everyone, seems like I'm losing it!

The cupcake card is lovely, so pretty - thank you for sharing the printout.
You did make me laugh, I'm always forgetting which day it is since hubby retired, I was watching the BBC news this morning and wondering why it was still Breakfast News after nine o'clock, then I realised it was Saturday!

  4. Awesome cards. Love the cool pineapple sporting his shades. I also love the pink one, too. My favorite co,or. I sure get mixed up on my days, too. They seem to run together. That started when my hubby retired. He needs to go back to work so I know what day it is. LOL

  9. You have some of the greatest ideas and sharing them with others is so kind and gracious of you! Love that fun little pineapple and all those sweet treats to cut out as well. I can SO relate to your missing the class! This morning I got up early, and put a beef roast with all the veggies into the crockpot for our dinner tonight. An hour later, my husband said "do you want this crock pot turned on yet?" DUH! I never turned it on - good thing he noticed or we would have had sandwiches for dinner LOL I'm blaming it on the excessively hot weather because it couldn't POSSIBLY be my age, right? (wink)

  14. They are both lovely, but I do love the pineapple advice and that little pineapple die! So adorable with the sunglasses. I think losing tracks of days is due to Covid! Each day was the same - it'll take time to readjust!!

  16. Oh Faith, what delicious treats you have made for your students and for us! THANK YOU!!!! for the berry-licious digi card elements. I love them! But! How am I supposed to stay sane when you aren't - HEEEEEHEEE. It's retirement + Covid languishing. We are all marked for good, oh well, I can think of worse things than never remembering what day it is. Great good luck with class this week. You should immediately hire your Hubby as your Appointment Sexetary (oops, sp!). LOLOL xoxo
