Pale flowers

Hi Everyone, I said I was working on something a few days ago, well this is it. I don't know why I wanted pale flowers, but here they are.

I had seen gold flakes added to a card here, so I decided to try and do the same, there may be a few more than I intended, but it looks OK I think. At least I have started a pot that I bought years ago and I can't remember opening! I'm going to do that this year I think, using stuff I haven't used or rarely used. I see a few other bloggers are thinking the same?

Although my die frames are new -Yeah! I know so contradictory of me, but I had to have them for layering, that's my reason anyway LOL I even have a stamp order on the way I HAD to have, what's with me? Is it lockdown causing me to veer into newish things, or old that seem new?  Is lockdown doing things to you too, apart from lack of mojo? I have been in a major slump, but a few ideas are starting to form in a "what the heck" way. Look out is all I can say!

  9. Oh my, this is a stunning card and I am loving the pastel colors with the gold Faith! Lockdowns, Covid, it is effecting everyone differently. Some shop online, some eat, some do both! lol The both would be me. Yes, guilty as charged and I've got to get back on track about that! What ever is going on with you and lockdown, keep it up because your cards are amazing my friend! Hugs, Brenda

  16. Wow Faith, this is absolutely stunning! I love those flowers and your delicate colouring with the touches of gold. Consider your dies an investment because I think you'll get a lot of use out of them! It definitely isn't you - a lot of bloggers are 'shopping their stash' as well as buying new. I think it's an effort to kickstart mojos which are made sluggish by the constant anxiety. Looking forward to seeing what you make next (and thanks for the warning lol!) Hugs, Vicky x

  23. Faith this is one amazing card! Keep up the experiments! I think the pale flowers complement the gold flakes instead of competing with them and your dimension on the card is the perfect touch. Brava! XOX
