Angel Get well

Hi Everyone, I have a card today that I made after an old work colleague rang me  from her hospital bed, to let me know she had fallen down her stairs and had sustained a broken hip, femur and pelvis! She had been in hospital for a few weeks already, she then went on to tell me there had been a patient diagnosed with Covid and there was a big clean on. I just hope she keeps getting better!

She always requests an angel on a card I send her, I don't like to repeat them, so I went looking for an angel and this one popped up AND it's a freebie too. I hope it will be good for her. I made it with bright colours to make it cheerier.

I printed the image out and added embossing powder as it left the printer, I heated it from the back and I was pleased it didn't buckle the vellum. (Although it may look like it in the photo, as the vellum is loose and doing it's own thing.) I added a touch of red tape in the middle to hold it flatter after the photo!

  4. This card is so pretty and delicate, Faith. You are skilled at that inkjet embossing! I am not sure at all I could have embossed that much real estate at once the regular way and have it turn out so well. Hope your friend recovers, this should lift her spirits! XOX
