Hi Everyone, I have a digital scrapbook page I was going to enter into a template challenge, BUT, when I went to enter, I realised I had forgotten to use products from the site. Ah! well, I'll share the story and layout with you anyway. I chose the background paper, because, I thought it had the feelings of it being a Tudor tapestry. The flowers and mushrooms because they were in the garden. I hope you like it.
The template is Designs by Connie Prince.
DP's and elements by Just So Scrappy
I also thought I would share our first daffodils, it was the bleakest of days yesterday, I looked out of the window and these beauties were dancing in the rain and gale force wind, (my excuse for the slight blurriness LOL
Stunning page, my friend, and I love that house! Great layout design and even better photos. :-D
ReplyDeletesuch a great looking page Faith ...love the pennant hanging and all the elements you added really make it so interesting to look at.

Such a pretty layout. That house is stunning, it sounds wonderful and I would love to roam the gardens. I can't believe your daffies are out already. It's too cold for them even to be showing signs yet here. But Spring will be here before we know it.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful layout Faith, fabulous photographs and lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteWe have daffodils in bud but not in flower yet!

Such a gorgeous layout with lovely elements and loving the colour tones. Yeh for the daffodil...x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous scrapbook page. I agree that you picked out the perfect papers and elements to go with the old B&B. Lucky you to have a daffodil so early. I saw one just yesterday down the road. I'm scared for mine to pop up anymore for fear of cold weather we are surely to have yet to come.
ReplyDeleteHi Faith! What a beautiful scrap book page! And I love your daffodil photos. About 2-3 more months for my daffodils to bloom! I planted another 15-16 last fall so I can hardly wait. They were in a mixed bag, so it will be a surprise for sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing, incredible layout! I love the colors and elements, and congrats on your first daffodils of the season! It's still winter here......brrrrrr
ReplyDeleteFabulous back ground paper and interesting pictures .Love those mushrooms .
ReplyDeleteLove your colour theme Faith, really compliments the house and those chimneys are fabulous. No sign of flowering daffodils in our garden yet so I'm very jealous of yours - One of my favourite flowers xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout Faith. The background paper really is a perfect fit for your photographs. I love the little pennant banner and the added butterfly too! Wow, your flowers are growing in, amazing and so beautiful. I'm totally not ready for spring yet, I'm still very patiently waiting for our winter!! lol. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely page and how fantastic to have been able to stay in such an old house. Just love those chinmeys.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout on this and the background DP does look like my idea of Tudor tapestry. It looks perfect with the lovely old house pictures - what a lovely way to remember your stay at this fine old place. I like the cheery banner trimming, and the other embellies too. And enjoyed seeing the bright yellow daffs. Bet that cheered up a rainy day scene very much! TFS & Happy Sunday. Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scrapbook page, Faith and wonderful paper choice. I cannot believe you already have daffodils. Great picture, but i think Spring is still some time away.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, those daffodils!!! Aren't they simply beautiful?! Ours won't be out for months yet but friends recently dropped off a pot of them for me. They're done blooming now though.
ReplyDeleteYour page is fabulous! How exciting to have stayed there! The paper is perfect, so even though you didn't use the site's products, you have a perfect page to treasure. It all worked for the best!
Gorgeous page, Faith! I love everything about it but I really love the photos! It looks so different than here! Beautiful Daffodils too. None of those peeking through our snow! :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great layout and also can't believe you've got daffodils already! Our snowdrops have only just peeked through..
ReplyDeleteYour page is absolutely stunning, Faith. I love your pictures and the beautiful papers you put with them.
