STAMPED card!

Hi Everyone, here is a card I made with a stamp set sent to me by my blog friend Hetty,  she does the most amazing work with her stamps and I always admire them, she sent me a couple of vase stamps, now you know I am not a stamper, but, as she had been so generous, I was honour bound to use them. I had told her I didn't know what to do and she said "mix your digital and stamp."

That is what I have done and am I pleased? Oh! YES! I am so thrilled with the end result, I even added a zig pen glue and added embossing powder to it, to get the result on the digital flowers.

I measured the stamp and made the flowers the correct size in PS, then printed the image to stamp over, I had forgotten that stamping doesn't cover the image as it would have done with a digital image, so using the printed image and the stamp, I edited the flower and printed it again, lightening the background (which I preferred). I stamped again to make it look like the digi image was coming out of the vase. I'm really pleased with the result and will definitely use the stamp set again, I had forgotten the beautiful effect of a stamped and embossed image.
Thank you Hetty.

  9. Faith, your card is beautiful. How neat that Hetty suggested for you to used the stamps and digitals together. She may make a stamper out of you, yet. :) You sure know how to work magic with the digitals. Have a great weekend.
