Horse rider card

Hi Everyone, my card today is for the Outlawz Sketch challenge, I had a card to make for one of my Nieces, I always make her a card with a horse on it as she is a fanatic horse lover. She does Dressage, so thought this rider would be good for her.
cut on my Cameo, and 3D layered onto the card with the
large horseshoe, don't who this is by, it's an OLD file,
3D gloss added to it.
DP's Retrodiva Designs, not sure if she is still around.
the horseshoe border was made with the same horseshoe
duplicated and laid onto the paper
the centre flower image is by Meljens Designs who is no longer open.
I coloured a few flowers with Spectrum Noir pens.

here is the sketch, which I turned

I thought I would share with you the daffodils coming in the garden,
we'll have flowers before long. I just noticed, hubby has planted the new bulbs this year in a line, ah! well, they are blooming, that's what matters.

  2. Left you a comment over on Outlawz but have to tell you how much I envy you those glorious daffodils! I do miss the ones I left in my garden when I moved here 3 years ago but our winter has been far too cold and wet this year for anything to be blooming this early. Maybe I can get some bulbs in later this spring and they'll bloom gloriously next year. :-D

  4. Such a fabulous card! It's perfect for your horse-loving niece!

Daffs are my absolute favourite flower. I'm thinking they must be yours as well! Ours won't be out for another 2-3 months so enjoy them for me!!

  5. A perfect card for your dressage rider! I love that sweet image. That always looks to be such a graceful procedure whenever I see it on the tv, & must take such discipline for rider & horse. Love that you have made the top horseshoe stand out with the added gloss, AND that you've replicated the design & made it smaller to create such a perfectly appropriate border. Like the way you've overlaid the silhouette image onto the posies. Gosh, you're a whiz with the cameo. And adding in the touch of pink...just right for a young miss. She'll love it!!! (also enjoyed the pictures. I must see if our old daffodils are coming up too. I know they won't be so high as what you're showing! ) TFS & Hugs

  11. Perfect horse card for your niece. You seem to always have the perfect planned card for many occasions that are always coming up in your busy year. My daffodils have barely broken ground which is not good. Mother Nature is giving us a taste of Spring and we are in the dead of winter. I lost many flowers last year due to the same thing and hope I don't miss my flowers again this year.
