Duck and joke
Hi Everyone, my card today is for the Outlawz Sketch Challenge, I have just made it!, where does the week go? Anyhow, here is the magnificent Mitzi, I haven't used one of these images for YEARS and I love them all. I cut and print her and the wonderful Dearie Dolls lipstick image on the Cameo, I followed the sketch and added a joke I saw in a newspaper recently, I had to use it somewhere and this was it. LOL. Both were ready coloured images. I layered the papers onto black card.

Oh Faith..this is fabulous! Hubby came upstairs to see what I was laughing at and we both enjoyed this awesome card. The lipstick, hearts and brilliant sentiment is perfect for this fun image...love it all. hugs, Pat K x
ReplyDeleteNow this just made me smile! This is duck-a-tude personified, and Love the tiny trimmed hankie with the lipstick. (your cameo skills are just as impressive as your PS skills! I was trying to use the clone tool this afternoon, and not being terribly successful). Love the tiny pink heart border with the gingham yellow. Just a well-designed and darling card & what a perfect sentiment. (don't know these digis..are they still available?) TFS & Hugs

ReplyDeleteShe is fabulous!!!! The gingham and hearts make such a great background for her. Sad to hear that she is no longer available -- ducks are definitely a favorite. And your joke really 'quacked' me up! ;-) Love it!

OK...I know for a fact I left a comment on this adorable card because I was so disappointed that I could not purchase the image. I also made the comment that I didn't see the rest of the joke. Hummm...computers! haha

ReplyDeleteI had to come back and revisit. I now see the answer to the joke. I was on my Ipad when I saw your post and somehow I didn't get the full image. I have done several cards with Mitzi but the one I will post tomorrow sends a link to your darling card here. I will definitely be casing this joke....made me laugh and giggle. I think I missed the Dearie Doll Lipstick image so I will have to go and check. Thank you for the inspiration and have an awesome weekend.
