Hi Everyone my card today is using the FREEBIE "Scents of Christmas" Card Kit from the Miss Daisy Stamps . I'm afraid the freebie was only until the 18th, but may be still available if you want to visit and see! My card was a last minute make.
Using the papers and following a sketch I coloured the bird and holly in PS. I added Nuvo silver glitter around the edge and Cosmic Shimmer glitter jewels on the cap and around the sentiment. It has a lovely sparkle in real life. Very different colours to what I would normally make, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
Looks really effective Faith, seems strange seeing Christmas themes when I am sitting here melting - it's 84 degrees and a bit too much for me. Am having a day out in Knaresborough and hubby suggested eating lunch in the restaurant garden, bad move as far as I'm concerned, would have preferred a bit of shade !!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous Christmas card Faith, such a sweet image and lovely colours.

Love the soft pastels on this, and boy, did you get shimmer! Aren't the Nuvo products so nice to use? I like this layout very much too, and you UK folks are so amazing with the freebies. (well, this is a website, not the magazines I guess!) You've made a darling little snowman, great design, and I like the colors in the pretty border papers. Will be checking the tutorials real soon, so thanks for making these. Hugs & TFS
