Male Button card

Hi Everyone, The Male Room challenge this week is to use stash buttons. So I have twice! LOL.

It seems I am still in the "mistake" mode, I made a button card for a female!! I thought great challenge, as that is what I originally thought for her. Then started blogging it and realised what I had done! NO problem, I had seen an image which was perfect for this challenge.

I added a frame around the main image, I wanted it to look like a button card that would be bought. I added a sentiment and shaped it, that I had seen on the web. (translated, it means novelty from Paris). I sewed the buttons on the card, embossed the 2 background papers, and added a gold frame to the top layer, I die cut the oval and added die cut sentiment, which I cut twice. A twine bow to finish.

  3. Since I used to be a quilter in another life, and collected buttons for a long time, I love this! Those shirt buttons compliment the image perfectly (as did the EF). Love that you handstitched the buttons on - until I read, just thought it was more of your PS magic. The twine detail finished this card quite nicely (and you know, this could work for a female too...even though it's a guy image). Well done! Wish I could send you over some sunshine..the constant rain must get a bit dreary after several days of it. Our sun would dry things out fast! TFS & Hugs
