Hi Everyone, my card was created for my needlewoman SIL's birthday. This is the one I made instead of the Male one (previous post) I should have done LOL.
I laid it all out in PS, put a floral border and an image together to make the button card, then printed and layered with the button layer being 3D'd and the buttons sewed on. I saw some button cards on the web, from which I copied the French quotes for the buttons. SIL loves a particular shop in Paris for her fabric and accessories, so thought it apt for her. The ribbon looks a real clash in this, but I assure you it looks good IRL.
The button label has the floral border and the image from Bumble Button
All papers and elements are from the Daisy Chain mini kit by Snickerdoodle Designs.
Buttons are from an old shirt
Wow, fabulous card. Beautiful image and design and I love the daisy chain. I'm sure your SIL was thrilled. Pat K x

ReplyDeleteWow Faith, I am loving this one! Those colours are completely up my alley, and all the floral imagery...heck ya! Lots of great lines to follow, there's a really great flow to this one, and that image is the cherry on the cake! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful ladies card with those cute buttons! His and hers - good job on both!
ReplyDeleteAm loving this button design as well. Love the vintage lady photo, and of course, the paper designs take me back to quilting, dress making fabric & the gentility of a by-gone era (which I can still remember!!!). It's lovely, and you did another stunning PS effort! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteOoh! I love this! Beautiful daisies and image! And I love how you've done the buttons! It's been such fun catching up, Faith!
