Scrapbook page with Dots and Stripes

We were given assorted images to work with and mine was a barrow full of flowers, now what photo to use? I came across a photo of my parents wedding, I hadn't used Pink Petticoat papers for a while so decided to use her dots and stripes papers plus a couple of others. I added PS masks and played with blending modes and also added colour to the bouquets of my Mother and Aunt. I used digi papers and colours which were used on the barrow and flowers to match.

The Challenge is for digital items, how about you joining with an entirely digital layout? Try it you may like doing it.

Oh, Faith, what a fabulous layout! Love the photo and everything just seems to work so well together. Love that you didn't overdo it and kept it simple. :-D

ReplyDeleteWhat a great layout, Faith! You are a whiz with the digital stuff! It boggles my mind!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous design Faith, it really showcases the lovely photo xx
ReplyDeleteLove that you've incorporated a wonderful photo in this pretty card. (you are amazing with the PS skills - always blows me away with your expertise). The flower barrow adds a spark of color to the b&w vintage photo, and how clever to add color to the bridal bouquets. Liked the other colorful bits you've tucked in. This would have to be a very special card for one of your siblings (or just to keep for yourself). What a beautiful way to remember that very special day, and meet your challenge commitment at the same time. Well DONE, you! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteSally H says it all - brilliant. lolx
