I started with the size of the front of the card and used the PS shapes to add to it. I "painted" the area black and the shapes white, merged them and saved it as a PNG, tranferred it into Silhouette and cut it out of 170g matte coated paper, I am so pleased with this paper, it shows up the colours beautifully and cuts great. I added lavender card behind it. I duplicated the onesie and used another printed paper to cut it out, then 3D'd that onto the cut layer. That wasn't enough I wanted to add a sentiment or something about a new baby, but didn't think it could be added to the front, what to do?
Add acetate - of course! before I added the cut out to the blank card, I folded the acetate over the card and paper and glued them to the blank card. I still couldn't see how I was to add the sentiment without hiding the cut out design, then a light bulb went on! I haven't added peel offs to a card for a VERY long time, so there they are onto the acetate, I think it works on this occasion. I think that light bulb moment sent my brain into overload, as it hasn't worked much since LOL.
