Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for
This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme chosen by Mervi
All Things New
I haven't bought any stamps in a while, but these are unused, so new? I found some "happy paper" and went with the colours of that.
The stamps were stamped onto a square die-cut white card and coloured to match the paper. I found a tiny birthday greeting in older stamps, unused, and stamped and coloured the background, then cut it to fit onto the bottle. I hope it works, and my niece won't mind the tiny hand cut sentiment. Next, the sentiment was stamped to fit inside the square, and I applied ink around the edge.
The banner was stamped and die-cut, again with an older, unused stamp and die, then coloured. I attached the paper to a piece of matching plain paper, which was glued to the base card. The square and banner were attached with 3D pads to the patterned paper. I then added 3D glaze to the bottle, the glass, and the stars, which has given them a lovely shine.
stamps - Polkadoodles, Cheers, Lovely
stamp & banner die - Crafters Companion, Joyful Birthday
patterned paper - Craft Sensations, Happy Papers. The Range
inks - Distress Inks - evergreen bough, carved pumpkin,
scattered straw, worn lipstick

A lovely bright and cheery card using your "happy paper", the banners across the top draw it all together so nicely.

That's a really bright and cheery birthday card for your niece Faith and that very small sentiment was a great find and fits perfectly on the bottle. I love the macaron covered background paper and the coloured banner, with the added topper and the shiny bottle, glass and stars, and a lovely sentiment to finish..a brilliant card. x
