CAS WLCS

Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for We Love Stamping. This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme of

CAS

A search through my stamps, brought up 2 sets that I could use, so I actually made this and the mid month card at the same time, whoop, whoop.

I stamped and coloured the image with DI's in a different colour way to what I would normally use, it must have been me on the day, then die cut it. Next, I stamped the sentiment and die cut that. I decided to add another layer, so die cut it and embossed lines diagonally. After adding all the layers, I added the sentiment matching the diagonal lines. The die is 5x7inches, so I had to juggle it to fit the image, and the sentiment, so the edges matched.

stamps - Colorado Stamp Company free with SCP #228
die - Card Making Magic
inks - Distress Ink abandonden coral, seedless preserve, specled egg, iced spruce

Don't forget, your image must be hand coloured. We now require At least one stamped element on entries. Those of you like us, who love to stamp, we would still love you to enter your fully stamped entry.

  9. What a pretty stamp and it looks beautiful mounted on white. I love how you have done the sentiment too. I would never have the courage to put it at such an angle, but it works really well. It is a great feeling to get both DT cards done in good time xx

  23. I sure am glad you included that card front close-up, as I was a bit lost. I could not see the diagonal lines at all in the first photo, so I thought you were talking about the stitched die lines, lololol. It's a pretty card and of course I chuckled at the sentiment! XOX

  26. Your CAS card for We Love Stamping is beautiful. The embossed lines and the vibrant colors from the Distress Inks add such a lovely touch to the design. The diagonal placement of the sentiment works wonderfully with the overall composition.

  27. The pretty peonies in the bottle vase are gorgeous Faith, and I have a feeling that I do have this set myself, but don't think I have used it so I really must get it out soon. I love the stitched layers ad the sentiment strip at an angle looks great...a beautiful CAS card. x
