Motobike stamping

Hi Everyone, I saw a stamp on someones blog and had to buy it, we have a few old bikers and new bikers in our family, so thought it would come in useful.

I stamped the bike then die cut it. I looked through everything to see if I had some tyres, the only thing I found was this frame, which is an image from a digi kit. It was sized it to fit behind the bike die cut, in Photoshop, then printed out and fussy cut.

Some silver card was embossed and die cut from the same set I did the motorbike layer. I inked both die cut layers around the edge. They were all layered and attached to the base card. I then stamped the sentiment die cut it and 3D'd it to the corner of the bike stamp layer.

stamps - Indigo Blue "Ride Along"
tyre frame - Lindsay Jane "In the fast lane" digi kit
inks - Distress Oxide, lost shadow
dies - Sue Wilson, Noble squares
silver card - The Range
embossing folder - Craftwell Modern Stripe

  17. Oh, I have a biker son in the family and hubby used to ride, too! Hubby needs to fix up his bike, but just hasn't for some odd reason. But, he likes to hold onto his old toys, lol! Anyways, your motorcycle card is wonderful! Love the sentiment, too!

  18. Good for you snapping up this fab stamp Faith! Love the design with that gorgeous tyre frame. Isn't it great to be able to personalise cards for our family and friends!

PS Your comment on my blog made me chuckle. I definitely have brandy in the cupboard for medicinal purposes now (as well as for cooking up a couple of very nice sauces!) but when you're young you don't think of these things do you!!

  26. Hi Faith, here to do catch up! I love this card, the treads going around your image is so cool looking! I also love the motorbike stamp, but it is the sentiment that I am loving!!! Now, you wouldn't catch me on a bike, they scare the daylights out of me. LOL Well not so much the bike as the other people on the road that don't pay attention to the bikers!!! When I was a young child, I was placed on a bike with my little legs and feet handing over the handle bars. No fear then. LOL Hugs, Brenda
