I received a newsletter advert and just had to buy the stamp, there is a tutorial of how to use the stamp on their blog, a new technique to me, so I followed the tutorial and cased the card.
I stamped the shadow layer, then the flower layer. A piece of ripped vellum was stamped with the sentiment and using clear embossing powder heat embossed. It was then attached to the stamped layer.
I layered the card and vellum onto yellow and purple card, so they were on 2 sides each. The colours were different for me too. I am pleased with the result and glad I could case, and learn. I hope you like my version too.
Beautiful Iris and love the magical feel given by the vellum! Your Irises are just gorgeous. Here their time is already done by a month, now it's just too hot!

Hello welcome back - beautiful card and thanks for sharing the photos!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Faith and I love the pretty purple and yellow for the iris and the coordinating matted layers in the background, and then the vellum with the lovely pink sentiment. The photos of the irises in your garden are great and they are such striking flowers and come in quite a few wonderful colours. I do have a couple of different iris stamps which don't get used much so I must rectify that. x
