Hi Everyone, I made my card for the Snippets Playground, why? because there is a promise of Eggnog at the Playground. Now I'm not one for alcohol normally, but Eggnog reminds me of my Mother drinking it at Christmas when I was a few, ahem! years younger and sharing with me, well diluted with lemonade. I may get a bottle for Christmas?
Anyhow, off to find my mass of Christmas snippet papers and I found these. One was of a wood background, that I felt was light enough for what I wanted, the others I hoped would fit in, they are from the same paper pad. I reversed one as it showed embossing on the wrong side.
I think it's all self-explanatory so here are the piccies.
Very nice Christmas card!!!
ReplyDeleteYou've earned that eggnog with this pretty little card you created from snippets! I love the red gems and sequin accents too! BTW, you are welcome to have my share of eggnog at the playground! I've never been a fan :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Faith, love the textured background for the bauble to sit nicely on, I love it.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well, not seen you around blogland for awhile, take care.xx
I love this prettily coloured bauble with the bit of woodgrain in the background and on the sentiment banner too, and the strip of embossing in the background goes beautifully Faith..a super Christmas card. x
ReplyDeleteEggnog always makes me thin of Chevvy Case and Christmas Vacation, we still watch it even Christmas and laugh at the same bits.
ReplyDeleteGreat snippet card Faith, might see you in the playhouse.

ReplyDeleteI love Eggnog too, and have similar memories of my young ages :)
Hello Faith, your card is gorgeous, I love that beautiful bauble and the lovely design.
ReplyDeleteI love eggnog, although I know it as Avocad, think that's how it's spelled. I used to get a little at Christmas well laced with lemonade. New year was Babycham, which I bought a couple of years ago, and it went down the sink, tasted awful and not how I remembered it, well it was 60 odd years ago, Kate x
Faith, this is beautiful! I love the texture and the awesome CAS design! Nicely done!
