Rushed birthday card

 A quickie post today.

OH! Dear me, another rushed panic card. I had completely forgotten my Great, Great Nieces birthday, she will be 4 this week. My old 'puter calendar reminded me 10 days in advance and was literally on my screen. I'm not impressed with my Google one, maybe because the quality of my old one, which wasn't suitable for Windows 11. Due to the state of the postal service at the moment, I had to get it into the post today.

The first thing I think of when in a rush is my Cameo, and that what is what I used today. Colourful paper and an embossing folder. I added a gold overlay on the cake topper and star loops, and it was done. Although I also printed out an insert, I forgot to photograph in the rush. I just hope she gets it before her birthday and she likes it.

Number svg - Extraordinary Chaos
card - Craft Sensations
embossing folder - Cuttlebug Birthday
gold mirror card - stash

  6. I don't know what is up with Blogger, but I'm getting tired of it "being broken" when I go to post my comment! Grrrrrr! So here I go again and apologize if you get duplicates from me. I love this card, it is a fun and happy card for a child. The colorfulness, the patterns and embossing all so fun. Little fingers can run across and feel the embossing, which kids just love. They also love to see their name on a card. You did a great job getting this card "rushed" to make and mailed out. I think she will love it! Hugs, Brenda

  11. Nice and colorful and shiny, what 4 year old can resist that? I was relieving your panic as I read what you wrote. I hate that feeling, hope you are all calmed down again now! Is the UK post still striking? So I read are NHS workers? I'm reading upsetting news from over there, hope it's all not true. But then you probably read upsetting news about us, too. I think I now truly know the meaning of wanting to live in the past, lol sigh! XOX

  17. Terrific card for a 4th birthday. I wish my cameo was out all the time so I could do quick cards but alas I have to drag it out and plug it in because when I pull it out the plug always comes out and I have to crawl under the table to pull the plug back up. Someday I will find a way to keep it from getting unplugged. LOL!
