Happy Christmas Everyone, I hope you're having a wonderful time.
My make today is one I included in presents for the family. Although they were filled with sweets and chocolates.
I couldn't get over how deep and big they were, AND, I made them smaller than they should have been. They are about 7 inches (ca. 18 cm) wide and about 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) deep, they stand about 5 inches (ca. 13 cm) tall. I have to admit the first one took ages watching the tutorial video, the other 2 went together quite quickly.
I cut them with my digital die cutting machine, so handy for homemade presents. This post was delayed posting, as they were presents and my SiL reads my blog, I didn't want her to see the shared pressie before she opened hers and my brothers.

Faith these look wonderful, they also look quite difficult to make but what a great idea.xx
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, these are adorable and it looks like you totally got the hang of the construction. I love Sandy's designs - I was on her DT for 2-1/2 years and have many of her files. This is one, though, that I've never tackled, lol! Great job!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how COOL and cute craft project!!! And so striking!! You has been surely very busy making them, but such a fun surprise for your family!! Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea this is. It looks like you have executed it perfectly too. It looks far too involved for me. I would get in a complete muddle trying to make something like that. Bet your family loved them xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design and so unusual. (You have far greater patience than me.) They look so perfect. I am sure your family were all delighted with their gifts, especially as they were filled with sweeties.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the New Year Faith.

ReplyDeleteHope you had a good Christmas, Faithie. Our temps are returning to a normal range and my Arthurs are slowly going back into their cage, lol. For a while but I'll enjoy every second. Adorable bowl and expertly made. XOX
