B&W Dad

Hi Everyone, I'm behind showing you this card, I found it amongst a few others I still have to show you. This was for Father's Day, told you I was behind hahaha.

I started by stamping the DAD, then die cutting the letters out with a black card layer added. The sentiment was stamped next and die cut. The car was stamped onto silver mirror card and embossed in silver too. I fussy cut it out. I cut a piece of paper from a pad and laid it onto black card. Simple card and appreciated by my son who requested it and hubby who received it, What more can I want.

Dad stamp - Craft Making Magic magazine freebie
sentiment stamp - Woodware
dies - Tonic (Dad) and Sue Wilson (sentiment)
 car - Magazine freebie
car paper - Craft Sensations B&W Collection
black and mirror card - stash

  2. What a great Father's Day card, Faith and I love that it could be used for other occasions too. I'm hopeless at masculine cards but you really nailed this one!
    Hope you are well.
    Take care.

  6. Great Father's Day card. The metallic die cut car is an awesome focal point and really pops off of the black and white background. Thanks for sharing at the 613 Avenue Create's July, "Anything Goes with a Twist/Black & White" Challenge.

  8. What a cool Father's Day card Faith! I love the car paper, really nice in the black and white color combo. Love how you did "dad" too. But it is the shinny, embossed car that is so cool looking on this card! I think you and your son make a great card making team. lol Love it! Hugs, Brenda

  10. Oh what a fun card for giving to dad! I love the little sports car that looks like a Cobra, but all those cars in the background just add to the fun too! It may be posted late, but it's still fabulous!

  11. Perfect card, Faith, Brava! And I love it when you craft old school like me, haha. When you usually talk about your Silhouette steps, my eyes glaze over and I fight tuning out, which is probly why I have no business actually getting one! Still have not touched the old Cricut either. Anyway, old skool much appreciated and looks super! xoxo
