50th birthday card and present

Hi Everyone, Sorry I have not been commenting or being in touch, as much as I normally do. I'll try and get back on track, but I have been so busy with birthdays, wedding card, the Club cards and of course Christmas cards and presents. Without other things too. I really don't know where time is going. I'll be blogging my makes so it will prove I have been busy hahaha.

Anyhow, here is something I have made recently, it was my God Daughter's 50th birthday, so I decided on a vase for a present.  I have been so up against it as I have said. I wanted to do something she could keep and I could do quite quickly. Yes! you guessed it out with my Cameo and some etching on a what I thought a pretty shape vase. I added a roll of black card to enable you to see the etching. I used Etchall etching cream after cutting out the vinyl pattern.

This is both front and back

front of vase including 50 (her age)

this is the back

This is the card I made for her, it's from a file, I have used before but, when I looked at the date 2008, it was before I blogged, so it hasn't been on my blog before!

all images from Hugware I don't know the artist,
it has CLH copyright on the images though.
The dress and the 50 are 3D'd, I also added Nuvo clear glaze to the spots on the card and the 50, it looks quite effective in real life ;D
