Information and stamping

Information for email subscribers

Please note that the following information only applies to
those who follow my Blog via email subscriptions

Google has announced that in July it will discontinue it’s Feedburner email subscription service that allows you to get email alerts of new blog posts. As a result I have changed to a new provider called follow.it.  All of you who have subscribed to receive email notifications of new posts on my blog should have received an email from follow.it.   asking you to confirm that you want to continue to receive notifications. If you don't confirm then you will be unsubscribed and will no longer receive emails. Alternatively you can click on the green follow button on the right to subscribe.

Other ways of following my Blog remain unchanged.
Thanks to Shirly Young for her words here.

Now my post for today -

Haven't we been so lucky with the beautiful sunshine in the UK, to make us feel happier. I can live with sunshine everyday, how about you. I don't mind the rain at night though.

It's one of the same stamp I did the other day I stamped and coloured, but didn't know what else I wanted to do with it, after a long while with no mojo and couldn't be bothered, I came up with this. I still have 2 others waiting in the wings with the same stamp. I cut an oval frame and before adding I used the inside of the frame as a mask to ink outwards from the image, I kept the mask in place and used a border die to "sort of" match the music bars, I stamped the birthday wishes the frame was added and also a bow and a button die. I layered onto the same card I cut the frame from and added it to a ready made card base.

Stamp - Flora Musica, Chocolate Baroque
border stamp - Stamp Addicts
sentiment stamps - Magazine Freebies
inks - Distress ink,
oval die - Tonic
ribbon - Ikea
heart button die - First Edition

  1. Beautiful card Faith, so pretty.
Again thanks for trying to help us with the email problem, its become quite a fiasco again, some think the email followers are the same as blog followers, if only that were true, I think I will give it one more try before I THROW IN THE TOWEL, BUT 1300+followers is no joke...xx

    1. Janette, I feel your pain! My accounting brain wants to just send my followers a blog post email and be done with the middle man but as you say, the two are not the same, ugh! XOX

  8. Aha! I've been looking (in a bit of a half-hearted way!) for an alternative to feedburner and subscribe by email, so Follow It sounds very interesting. Thanks Faith, will look into it.

  9. This is so pretty! I love the colour combination.

We're starting to have some nicer weather and my daffs have bloomed! I'm glad you've been able to enjoy some sunshine.

I did receive your follow.it message and have subscribed. And I'm still not sure why you have issues with my blog. I've looked through some things and really have no idea!!

  13. Faith, this is a very sweet-looking card and well-coordinated too! I grew up being taught no red with pink EVER and shoes match bag and wear coordinating colors. My daughter fought me on all of it when I tried to teach her. Anyway, this is probably why I appreciate your little touches of coordination on your card. I still notice things like that, lol. SO GLAD you are getting sunshine. I know how hard it is over there to get that at times. It DOES make one feel happy! XOX

  20. This is gorgeous - I love that image! As I mentioned earlier, I have not received any notifications of any of your posts since signing up with the new provider. I DID get an email and DID confirm that I wanted to receive notifications, but there was still something else that needed to be clicked that wasn't apparent before, so hopefully all is well now! ;)
