I hope your Easter weekend is not too cold after the lovely warmth we had earlier in the week. My card today is an Easter card. It's from a free file I have had since 2018 and each Easter I think I'll make that and never have, however, I shouldn't have waited, as it turned out to be beautiful and although with a few parts was easy to to colour and put together.
I coloured the leaves and flower centres, that I had cut with the digital die cutting machine, while they were still on the cutting mat, that turned out to be so much easier than trying to do each individual piece, as I have done previously. A little tip I saw recently. Then it was glue each part and put them together. I kept the card quite simple with white card and used my lightbox to photograph it.
Beautiful card Faith love CAS designs.
ReplyDeleteWe still have plenty of sunshine but still a chill in the air. Hope you have a lovely easter.xxx
Oh my Faith! This is so, so beautiful. It was definitely worth the wait. I love the white on white and the subtle and elegant pop of colour from the flowers. Love your tip about colouring on the mat, I'll have to try that one. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. Colette xxx

ReplyDeleteThis is so elegant and stunning for an Easter card! I love how you curled those flowers and placed them on the cross! Perfect for an Easter celebration!
ReplyDeleteOh Faith, this is so elegant and stunning! I love that cross, but I really love those lilies! That paper has such a cool texture on it, I love that. I would have never thought your colored them with DO's as it just looks like the paper was that color. So perfect looking! Yes, that is a good tip, I've heard that one before. Don't always remember to do it! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh such a clean and Easterly card! Those daffs are stunning. I have a very old Sizzix daffodil die from my 12x12 scrapbooking days that has to be put together as well. It came with good instructions, thankfully. I've only made it once in all these years and I cannot find it now. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour Easter card is just gorgeous, Faith! Love that intricately cut cross with the flowers! We had a fairly cold Easter, too!
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant and perfect!
