Hi Everyone, another of Gills' poems today, I've tried to add images to match, not sure I am successful on this one, but it's a bit of fun isn't it?
I used lots of different images, that have been in my files since goodness knows when! I knew they would come in handy 😄
bathtub - R Thorn
beach granny - I've had since 2012, file says it's by Otaku,
however the signature is Emily C?
map - TLC Creations
skier - Birds Cards
Hugware - don't know the artist.
Now for my card today
I saw beautiful cards HERE and loved them so much I thought I would have a go, so out with my Silhouette and I cut lots of Happy's in different fonts and coloured them with DO's.

Morning Faith, first let me say how much I enjoyed the poem and fabulous design you made to match, it should be in a book. The cards are gorgeous what a good idea, may try this.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.xx
I so enjoyed the poem and well done you adding the graphics x. Your Happy birthday card looks fabulous with the inking and I love how you've popped on the three Happy sentiments x.....Glad you persevered Faith x.
ReplyDeleteAnother brilliant poem - she's very good, I'm useless at rhyming.
ReplyDeleteLove your "happy" cards.

Great illustrations for the fun poem, Faith.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it frustrating when you have an idea in your head which somehow doesn't turn out like you imagined. Your colourful card is beautiful. xx
I'm sure the card with the white letters can be saved with a marker or two Faith! I absolutely love your second card with the coloured 'happies'! Thank you for sharing Gill's fun poem and illustrating it beautifully with those images! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Liz. Your second card really stands out! Pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe poem is great, and you have created such a delightful scene! Very nicely done indeed!
ReplyDeleteLove your birthday card! I really must spend more time with my silhouette. I have thousands of fonts and could really make some nice stuff!
Keep looking at the other card, you will find a way to use it!

Wow, you've been busy! Love the poem and what you've done with it! Great images! And your card turned out beautifully after all. I had to dump something the other day too... it didn't turn out anything like my vision, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think you have illustrated the poem perfectly Faith and I love the simplicity of the card xx
ReplyDeleteAnother super poem Faith, I think your images are great.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, I like the rainbow Happy sentiments.

The poem is brought to life with those fun images! Fun read! Love the happy on your birthday cards too. Even though the first didn't show up well, I'm sure the sparkle is quite visible IRL and looks equally festive and fun like the colorful 2nd one! NJ on everything
ReplyDeleteThat poem is so fun and I think you illustrated it perfectly Faith! So fun! I had to chuckle about your first card, but I think you might could have saved it somehow, but then with the sparkle, maybe not. It had hopes though! Now your second card.....amazing and I'm in love! I love the font you chose. I was going to do a script font but then changed my mind. I really love the script font and you have colored with with the oxides so great! Love how this turned out and I'm glad you didn't get discouraged. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWhat fun - the poem and the images you chose to decorate it with! Your card is gorgeous! Glad you persevered!
ReplyDeleteyou have dressed up the poem with the perfect images, faith... thanks for spreading cheer and smiles! the simplicity of the birthday card makes it perfect for everyone. don't give up on the first one... i bet is looks great in real life!
ReplyDeleteGreat poem..perfect for the times we are living in. You've illustrated it beautifully. Love the cas HB card, especially the rainbow colours. xx

Such a beautiful poem and layout thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love Gill's poem and how you've found images to illustrate!!
ReplyDeleteSo impressive - and just perfect for somebody like me (and I'm sure so many others) who are stuck inside dreaming of holidays that can't be taken right now.
Thanks for posting your bin card. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who creates and chucks!! Your do-over is bright and happy!
Glad the robot issue has been resolved!
Wonderful decorated poem, Faith and so true. Here we go from one week in the snow, to beautiful Spring weather. Very unreal.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are both wonderful. You had some great inspiration.
I love your poem and your cards are fab!
ReplyDeleteLove the poem--thanks for sharing it! Do you have liquid glue like from Lawn Fawn? That should have let you add letters on top of glitter, I think. But as I always say--it's only paper! The last card is really festive & fun--love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThe sunbather is perfect, Faith. I can almost see her lips moving to read the poem to me! I think we are all beginning to have cabin fever. I know I am. I'm glad that you made a card that you liked with your Happys. It's very pretty. And I learned a new phrase - bin card. I never have them probably because I'm too frugal. I would have just colored another 3 Happys and stuck them right over the first ones! heehee I also do not use loose glitter unless I'm forced to, so there's that. xoxo
