Hi Everyone, I am so lazy and tardy, I have no mojo whatsoever, I think the last 2 weeks have been a huge respite from craftiness and now I am finding it difficult to get going again. However I have one in the making, how successful that will be is another thing, but I thought in the meantime I would show you what's been having in my garden. It's been like a nature reserve, we have had so many birds OK! not different kinds as such, just the "normal" for our garden but so many more than usual.
These are Sparrows, gorging themselves, with the feeders down low they are waiting in the hedge for some room. The pigeons are snapping any seed that the sparrows are dropping.
How lovely we don’t get any birds in our garden these days. Used to get squirrels in our previous garden.
ReplyDeleteThe squirrels seem to be taking over around here, I see whole armies of them as there isn't as much footfall or traffic. Great photos.

Fabulous photographs Faith, it's lovely to watch the wildlife in our gardens - we get lots of thrushes in our garden and they really argue sometimes. We also have a couple of squirrels that visit and a hedgehog that has not hibernated this year!

Hope you get your mojo back soon, Faith! We are at war constantly with the squirrels taking over the feeders. There is one even trying to get to the feeder on the window, this morning!!
ReplyDeleteFaith, I love that you are willing to feed the squirrels as well. Most often we hear about those who feed the birds wanting to keep the squirrels away. lol Lovely photos, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Faith, I'm sure your mojo will come back. I had a week's break, and if it wasn't for having to make a card for the CCC, I would still be on the break. I think I scunnered myself card making over the year, but this year, I've made a resolution to use older stash and not make so many card, only what is necessary.
ReplyDeleteLovely garden photos, always great to see the garden wildlife, take care, Kate x
Lovely pictures of the feast in your garden. Thank you for sharing. I too have lost any desire to craft these days and not even inspired by my new supplies. Procrastination has taken over:) Take care, xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant and superb photos Faith! we very rarely get any sparrows these days. Maybe a month by month bird chart could ease you back in to crafting? I've just done one in my journal so we can track our visitors
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your photos of the birds and squirrels! What a happy sight to see in your garden! I love watching the birds out our kitchen window. I hope your MOJO returns soon. I’m feeling the same today, too. But, at times it’s good to just relax and decompress. Enjoy the lovely birds!:)
ReplyDeleteWow thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteAw what wonderful photos Faith! I feel the same way about crafting! I need more motivation than usual to get something going~
ReplyDeleteOMGosh Faith, I am loving these photo's! I have a lot of birds too, they are so fun to watch. I don't have a lot of squirrels anymore since we took down the chestnut trees. They loved coming and getting nuts. lol Your squirrels crack me up on the feeds or waiting in line for their turn at the feeder. So cute! I hear you about the mojo, mine comes and goes all the time, mostly goes. lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLove your photos Faith. We don’t see squirrels in the garden but they must be around as we see quite a few when we go walking. Am wondering if our hedgehogs will return this year- hope so as I still have some hedgehog food left. My mojo is low too, not helped by the fact we have a problem with our heating which is not good in this cold weather !!

ReplyDeleteThose are such fun photos, and must provide you with hours of joy just watching them feed! My friend has hummingbirds frequent her gardens in summer and I could sit and watch them all day long! TFS!
ReplyDeleteHi Faith thank you for your caring comment and I have been really touched by quite a few who have commented-finally I am feeling so much better.Love your nature pics and all your wildlife visitors -have just had a quick look through your blog at all the beautiful cards I have missed

Thank you for sharing these fabulous photos and what an abundance of the sparrows x.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos, Faith! Don't you get any snow? We had a squirrel skimming over the surface of our snow yesterday! He seemed to be very busy retrieving some treats, and hiding others. We used to have a bird feeder up but the cat next door was a BIG problem. I took it down to save my birds.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy seeing the photos of your garden, Faith! Looks like all the critters really enjoy spending time there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely garden you have, Faith! Aren't we both fortunate we live places where there are still birds in wintertime? XOX
ReplyDeleteFun to see your pictures. The company of animals suits me fine these days!
