My card today is for the son of our neighbour who has died after being ill for 2 years with pancreatic cancer, she has been remarkable after major surgery. She was coming on and out walking her dog, when she had a relapse and refused to go back into hospital. He is her only son and is devastated, naturally.
I made this card which I hope will let him know we are thinking of him. She had gone a week before I was told, so much for lockdown etc during this time, making us so isolated.
It's been so wet and dark, that I had to take a photo underneath my craft light at night, it doesn't make it look as good as I thought it was? Oh! well you get the idea.
Such a sad story, your card is beautoful and will be much appreciated

Beautiful sympathy card Faith never an easy card to make -love your embossed border.Terrible times I remember when you knew all your neighbours and whenever a someone died someone would make a door to door collection to buy some flowers and put it in the death section of the local newspaper. Now you usually find out when you see someone new moving into the house!

Beautiful card. It will mean so much. Unfortubately I never see my neighbours....they all came round with cards when Peter died but haven't seen hide nor hair since. It's a sign of the times. I do worry how long I would be dead before someone found me.... but then it wouldn't be my problem!!! Take care of your neighbour, he'll be so lonely.
