Hi Everyone my DT card today is for
the sketch -
It's been a few days since I added anything here, sorry about that, our son hasn't been well, however, as it's our 54th Anniversary tomorrow, I decided to make hubby a card, we don't usually bother, except for big ones! He tells me he loves me nearly every day so I don't need a card to let me know AW!
I decided to make him one for a change. It will also make him feel guilty LOL. I have been looking through my old digital files and found this kit that I thought suited perfectly, it had hearts and masculine colours. With the sketch, a bit of layering and, a sentiment with help of my Silhouette, a touch of sparkle on the sentiment and heart - card done! Cheers to 54 years. (I was only a baby when we married!) You don't believe me? Well I never!

You are naughty to tease your husband Faith but it sounds as if he's enjoyed being teased for 54 years! Love the arrow background - celebrating the ups and downs of marriage perhaps?! - and the scaled down version for the heart. Here's to you both and to many more years together! *raises cup of coffee*

ReplyDeleteI saw this sketch the week it was published and couldn't figure out what to do with it. I kept thinking in terms of images and never thought about die cuts or sentiments. Your take on it is fantastic, Faith! Great paper choice.
