Hi Everyone, it's a Friday and it's my DT card at
http://qkrstampede.blogspot.com/
I have had a few spin offs on this theme recently and have more in mind, but the one that started it all off is this one. I had the quote and thought I had something to go with it, then realised I didn't, so had to start from scratch. I searched my files for film and the film background paper and the negative strip came up, for some reason I thought newspaper and searched for that and up this one popped up. All I had to do is put them together.
I have to admit to feeling like I haven't any film sometimes LOL. I hope you are all well and have some film of your isolation period left for your memories!

I added a poem on THIS post and the author Jan Beaumont Auckland, NZ has contacted me asking if I would acknowledge her writing of it. I am only to happy to acknowledge Jan Beaumont being the author, I think we can all thank her for the enjoyment she brought to us. Wonderful writing and putting into words so many of us felt.
I also have to add, it was sent to me by email with no mention of the author so this was by no means a deliberate omission on my part. I enjoyed it so much I felt I had to share it, so my apologies are meant from the heart.
I have added an acknowledgement on the actual post, but many of you probably wouldn't revisit, so I felt I had to post it on my next post here.
A super card, such a fun design.

Wonderful card, Faith! I love the surprise inside when you open the card up!
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha! I love that observation, Faith, and have to remember it! Oh, wait, I don't have any film! It's a cool card outside and inside! And how nice that the author read your blog and was able to take the credit. You did a great apology and I'm sure she knows - and the rest of us know - it was not intentional! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card, Faith, and I just love how it all came together! The poem inside is indeed perfect and I'm so glad you were able to credit the author. My mind is not working on how I might be able to use the Photographic Memory sentiment. I do love it. :-D
ReplyDeleteSuper card, Faith with a wonderful sentiment!
ReplyDeleteYou make the card beautiful inside too.
What a wonderful card, Faith. The front appears so simple (but well-designed) and then the inside is a huge surprise. Love the layout! And the sentiment, both on the front of the card and inside, is perfect. Thanks so much for sharing with us for our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Oh this is such a fun card and I think I'm out of film too! LOL Us older folks understand that clearly! Fabulously put together card. Now that I may have solved my photo issues, blogger is NOT publishing my comments as I've checked them, so I have to go into design to find them and respond to them. I guess blogger caught the virus too now? LOL Take care!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--what a super fun card, Faith! You are so creative! How great the author of the poem saw your blog post!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this card Faith
