It's a one layer digital card designed in Photoshop, I added Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to the image and ribbon and Nuvo Crystal Droops to the "sorry".
I hoped you could see the raised word and gloss on the "sorry"
I haven't shown you photos for a while, so thought I would take this post as an opportunity to show you what the crazy weather we are having, is doing to our garden.
Daffodils flowering. Hubby planted them like soldiers on guard duty LOL.
hyacinths poking their heads through
even the roses have new growth and in the pot is a purple crocus, you may just be able to make it out on this photo.
Lupins are well on their way
Fuschias are budding, but will be cut back in March!
Faith your card is adorable. That image is beautiful. WOW can't believe your weather and that you have flowers already....we still have quite a bit of snow.
ReplyDeleteA super card for your friend Faith, I would never have known it was a one layer digital design if you hadn't said.
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of working with the beautiful owl digital download for Making Cards Magazine, they are fabulous.

It's good that it is a belated card, as it gave you an opportunity to use that great sentiment! Lovely card - I'm sure she'll forgive you! Your garden certainly is thriving. Not many signs yet, but it sure has been a mild winter for us too!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Faith. Love the owl and the colour scheme. I can believe how far advanced your garden is compared to mine. I think it's going to be a while before my daffs bloom! Colette xxx

ReplyDeleteSuper card for your friend Faith, bet she loved it with the owls.Your plants look great too, isn't it nice to see signs of Spring at last..our snowdrops are all out now too ;) Viv xx
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable Faith! I love that sweet owl image and the paper you made. I can see the shine on the "sorry" too, and with shine comes dimension. Dwayne's birthday was on the 3 of Jan and it would come up on me fast too! Yep, we are warm here too, Savannah's winter coat fell out and we have things blooming too. They say it is going to be a bad allergy spring because of it being so warm. Well, my allergies are already bad and it's not spring, just feels like it. lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWonderful card with a fabulous design Faith and a perfect sentiment x. Thank you for sharing the photos and had a little chuckle at eh daffodils on parade x. No signs of Spring yet up our way x.
ReplyDeleteI bet all will be forgiven when your owl mad friend sees this gorgeous card Faith! I love the glossy 'sorry' and the beautiful flower spray the main owl is resting on.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, what a lot you've got coming up in your garden! I have snowdrops and winter flowering jasmine but the periwinkles are also out and I have a rose in bloom! Down my road the bank is full of daffs in bloom alongside crocus which are usually earlier! x
What a beautiful card & love how you did the sentiment! We're having early Spring, too, with daffodils blooming & lots of new growth on my roses. Today, however, is freezing cold!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing the beautiful signs of Spring you're experiencing! Our yard is filled with piles of snow...and nothing else!
