I had seen a technique by Jennifer Mcguire that showed how to use glitter and a laminate pouch. I had both in my stash, so had a go, the background to the cat is what happened. I was thrilled with it. I also added her name, using my Cameo and the WRMK foil pens on the bottom parcel, whilst also cutting the cat, the number and the shaped border out.

What a gorgeous card Faith, perfect for an inquisitive 2 year old with its textures and details and that adorable puss. The 'sweets' border reminds me of a book I used to read to my daughter when she was a similar age: it had a picture of a birthday tea and my daughter used to tell me what everything was - she LOVED it! I can still remember her listing them off in her solemn little voice: sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, swiss roll, birthday cake, biscuits...

ReplyDeleteOh, what a precious kitty, Faith! I know your niece will love it. Loving the glitter and laminate pocket
