Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for
I have absolutely no mojo atm, and had difficulty putting something together, Pinterest, didn't work, until I came across this howling wolf and I thought straight away of him howling at the moon, so I look for a moon and this background paper came up, look for a sentiment and this one came up, so looking for inspiration was actually in my files, whew! I couldn't believe how many Halloween files I have!! including a recent blog hop!
I decided to have the wolf on half a card, so he looks like he is further away from the moon, it works in real life! I cut him on my Silhouette and added score marks to make the texture on his coat. I also added another bat.

as I was going through the files, I saw this a can label from YEARS ago. I had just finished a can of coffee and it had an orange top, so decided to clean it out and add the label, a gift can! whooppee! of -
Worm Soup!

ReplyDeleteNo mojo?!!! Are you kidding? I'd say it's come back with a bang Faith! Love your wolf howling at the moon and the insert with the glowing lantern and spooky skeleton. Have often thought it might be nice to drop in on you for a bite of lunch Faith but after seeing that can of soup I'm having second thoughts lol! Vicky x

ReplyDeletewe all go through the loss of crafting mojo, but I don't see it on your card! Love the wolf howling at the moon - something rarely seen on Halloween cards yet so appropriate for sending chills up/down the spine! LOL Now that Worm Soup label is funny!! Great for gifting some gummy worms eh? NJ on everything!

ReplyDeleteOh, this is a magnificent card, Dawn! Wonderful dimension and what a fantastic background on the insert. That wolf is superb. As to the Worm Soup, not sure I would by a can of it off the grocer's shelf but that certainly made a fun and fabulous treat can. lol Very inspired.

And I love your awesome fright night Halloween card with all those bats silhouetted against the full moon! That big wolf with the text background is howling perfection! This is awesome! I have a little used howling wolf stamp that I really love and it's funny that I never thought to use it for a Halloween card, but after seeing your card, I am going to do that!! This is a great card!!
