Hi Everyone my DT post today is for
the image I have used today can be bought
she is named as Ivy Greenleaf
which made me go searching for Ivy in my files, yep! got a few, but not that would be suitable, or so I thought, so off to the Silhouette Design Store and found a background that I thought would work. The image is actually on Morgans header, so it meant a lot to live up to. I have recently bought, (I am late to the party) some Ranger Distress Inks, I know you are all onto the oxide ones now! LOL. Anyway, I decided to use one pack of 4 and base my colours on those for my card.
I'm not sure it worked and I may not have done my best for this image and card. I think I will have to revisit it at some time. The image although it looks so detailed and it would be difficult to colour, was surprisingly easy.
image - Ivy Greenleaf, link above,
print and cut on Silhouette Cameo with outline added in pink card.
then coloured with Ranger Distress inks,
picked raspberry, mustard seed, peacock feathers, spiced marmalade.
sparkle pen - Spectrum Noir
ivy background - Silhouette store
embossing folder - Textures brick wall, Crafters Companion
green card - Centura Pearl
orange card & pink card - Dovecraft
ribbon - Anita's

I love the way you colored her in and then placed her off to the side so we could see the how the colors all work together with the image. That is a pretty die cut.
