Tree tealight and amazing pebbles!

Hi Everyone, my card had pieces from these makes. I saw these and thought them cute and decided to make one. I was thrilled although the card used didn't curl as I would have liked. Even so, I was going out with my old work mates and decided to show them what I had made, (they like to see occasionally.) To my surprise they asked me to make between them 4, two for christmas and two "everyday". One for a memorial light. I hope they will like them, I don't see them  again for a couple of weeks.

Here they are
the original pink tree
card - Hunkydory

card - Craft Sensations and Hunkydory

Here are the boxes I decided they would be better in.  I measured them on the Crafters Companion scoring board and stamping with magazine freebie stamps,
which I tried to match to the paper I used as far as I could.
Sorry not good photos we had a dark day and rain today

Here are the pebbles in my title.
We had a rare outing on Monday and came across this gentleman in Porthcawl sorting pebbles and stacking them, we just stood and watched amazed at his patience and how he stacked them in different sizes, how he lifted a few I don't know, they were so large and must have weighed an awful lot, but he still managed to stack and balance them perfectly.

  11. Lovely projects Faith. We are off to the Greek Island of Thassos on Sunday and we often see stacked rocks there but not seen them anywhere else before. Not actually seen anyone building them though xx

  12. What a fun project Faith - I'm not surprised everyone got their orders in!
The stacking stones are amazing aren't they? There's a British artist called Andy Goldsworthy who used to make sculptures like this but has now moved on to the most stunning 'outdoors natural sculpture'. Can't add link here but do look him up - he's amazing! x

The man stacking the pebbles (I'd call them rocks!) is incredible. What a vast amount of patience he must have.
