Hi Everyone, my DT post today is for
The Male Room |
I had a few ideas, but wanted something a little different for me. I needed a challenge and this seemed just right, not too hard and still making me think!
Anyhow on to my card,
I count 9 layers, (front and inside) so it has the required "multiple layers".
There are quite a few templates and tutorials on the web for pop up cards, but I got mine to be used on the Silhouette Cameo 2, from HERE
Stamps are magazine freebies
so is the "steam" die, cut with vellum
All coloured with Spectrum Noir markers
paper pad - Crafty Creations
I hope we'll see you in the challenge, many struggle with masculine cards and there are lots of inspiration on the challenge blog post.
Very nice work as always!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card, Faith! It's funny how many tea themed stamps I've been looking at today, and it's too hot this morning for tea. Although I might need some later. That pop-up feature is great, and the vellum steam is too! :o)
ReplyDeleteWow Faith! 9 layers? I llllllllove your card, my friend. As I lllove tea!!! Ha ha!!! Kisses!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pop-up card and stamps love the vellum steam.I have also just made my first pop-up card but it's a DT one for the 1st of the month

What a cool idea for the twist 'n pop style design! I never think of men when I think of tea, but of course the gentlemen enjoy tea too! Great card!
