Watering can

Hi Everyone, you know me as a "cheap" crafter! -

Every week there is a free Design of the Week at Silhouette Design Store and this week it was a watering can, when I visited the Silhouette UK blog, I found that Karen had written on how to cut it differently, something I hadn't done previously, so I HAD to try what she had done and this is the result. This was made as a trial cut, but after I cut it I thought it OK to go onto a card.

It would have been better, I think, if I hadn't decided to colour it with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir markers after I made it. I'm not one to usually throw away what I finish, so this will go to someone I know.

watering can - Paige Evans
card - Dovecraft
mirror card - The Range
dots embossing folder - Cuttlebug
which I went over with Stazon
wall embossing folder - Textures wall, Crafters Companion
tag die - mag freebie
sentiment stamp - mag freebie
ribbon - stash

I also love that watering can and flowers. I have to say I'm glad you colored it because it looks amazing!!!! I'm not sure how you got that look, but it is so cool looking and even a bit rustic. I love it!!! Hugs, Brenda

  18. Faith, it is always lovely to see someone using one of the tutorials- especially as successfully as you have. It reassures you that you have written it in a way that other people can understand.

    Thank you.
