Sounds like I am losing myself? the last couple of months I felt like I am, Yep! since my DVT I have been quite unwell and now I have finished the tablets I am starting to feel better. I think I may have had side effects from them, which made me unwell to make me well!
Anyhow enough of the moans, here is my card.

WOW, Faith, I love what you've done with that sketch! Wonderful dp choices and the die cut poinsettias are incredible. Love the ribbon. So glad to hear you are feeling on the up and up.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card - love the choice of pattern papers!!!

Faith, those papers are just gorgeous. Love the dies with that on your beautiful card. Don't beat yourself up - give yourself time to recovery...your body has been through a lot. Take care of yourself dear friend.
ReplyDeleteWow Faith, this card is stunning! Loving the papers and of course the poinsettia die cuts. They are so pretty and detailed-I love when the details show well. I have some dies where the details don't show well. Medication is funny like that, what makes you well also makes you feel unwell. That's the way my Lupus and RA meds do. I feel terrible on them, but great off of them...most of the time anyway. Glad you are done them and now hopefully you are good to go. But still hope the doctor will keep an eye on this as I've heard that once you have had one DVT you are at risk for another. So keep vigilant!!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi Faith this is a beautiful card my friend ,well done xx

Beautiful work Faith. The poinsettia die is perfect with the designer papers. Glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully designed poinsettia card - I just love the sketch you followed to create this! Unfortunately, taking meds always seems to cause unwanted side effects for me as well, but hopefully you're on the mend now and will soon feel much more like yourself!
ReplyDeleteI love poinsettias & that's a beautiful die! Wonderful card! So glad you're starting to feel better!
ReplyDeleteFaith this is one beautiful card, so unique and so very pretty. So glad you have finished the tablets and yes they can often make you feel unwell but are a necessary evil. So glad you are on the mend and thinking of you x
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch and wonderful way you used it.
ReplyDeleteLove the combination of papers and flowers.
It's just beautiful. Brilliant colors, pretty papers and dies, and I like the way you've interpreted this sketch very much. Good job. And I hope that now the meds are done, that you truly do start to feel better. I hope the DVT is all gone by now, and even though you weren't feeling tip-top, you've still managed to ace this sketch most wonderfully. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous card here Faith, you did such a job with the sketch and I love the pretty Poinsettias too.So sorry you have been unwell too...I hope you will feel a lot better now though ;) hugs Viv xx

ReplyDeleteOh Faith, I do hope you're feeling much better now. Side-effects can be a right old pain, but we have to plough through to the end, don't we?!
