Hi Everyone, for me, it's that time of the week when I add a card to The Outlawz sketch challenge. I think this is a lovely sketch although it is an old one (from March 2017) I think. A favourite and chosen by Lynn, I'm so glad she chose it.
I had bought a new digi kit this week, only because I loved the colours AND it was a special price, AND patterned papers were a bonus, I HAD to buy it, we have to take advantage of offers don't we?
Here's my card.
mini boo -03 digi kit - Booland Designs @ PickleBerryPop
image - Digistamp Boutique,
coloured in PS
sentiment- mine
leaf die, under leaf image, cut from paper- Tattered Lace
flower die, under flower image, cut from paper - Spellbinders
gems and ribbon from stash
here's the sketch
I don't even need to tell you how far behind I've gotten on commenting so please accept my apologies, my friend, and let me start over. The shoulder is healing nicely and I should be back to my normal routine in another few days. :-D
ReplyDeleteI love that sweet little bird, Faith, and your take on the sketch is perfect! Lovely paper choice. As to the new plant in your garden, I don't believe I've ever seen it before and it's utterly magnificent! I wonder if it would grow well in my area? I imagine our summer temperatures get too hot for it to survive. Sigh...
Aaww Faith - this is just darling, What an adorable little bird taking care of her eggs. The sentiment and the little flower posy are just perfect! Love your photos, I have this flower in my rockery garden and it is growing nicely - so long as we don't get a frost now (like we did last year) I hope to see it bloom this year! Your's are real beauties!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Faith, such a sweet image and lovely colours - a great take on the sketch.
