Orchid box card

Hi Everyone, something different for me today! I have made a box card, something I have been meaning to do, but browsing the Silhouette UK blog, I came across Janet Packer, who is clever with her cutting and tutorials, and found this card. I used her tutorial on how she did them in vellum and I'm thrilled with the result even though she used heavyweight vellum and I only had 100gsm.

This went to my eldest SiL, I'm glad to say she was thrilled.

vellum - Crafters Companion printable vellum 100gsm
I coloured the flowers and marked the leaves with Spectrum Noir markers.
The green card is by Tonic

I made another to show my No 3 SiL, when they visited, how I did it, and an excuse to make it for my neighbour so I didn't miss her birthday. I'm a little disappointed by my colouring on the leaves, but they look better at a distance!
