Anyhow they are self explanatory, I hope you enjoy them. I used layout templates by Marisa Lerin at Pixelscrapper
my eldest brother with his first Great Grand Daughter
My #3 brother, I did this last year, I thought I had blogged it but can't find it!!
AND
I thought I would show you what I found in our garden,
after I glimpsed a bit of yellow. These crocus opening up on a cold and VERY wet, miserable day, they certainly gave me a smile, BUT aren't they early?
daffodils about to bend their heads, ready to flower, in the soggy soil.
Hi Faith, wow I am loving all your pages what a wonderful way to record special events, you are very clever my friend xx
ReplyDeleteFaith, those are gorgeous pages and pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteCertainly loved seeing all your wonderful pages. Not only expert with PS, Cameo, but a great photographer as well! I always enjoy seeing vintage family photos, and it made the heart happy to see your brother with his little one. Oh what a treasure. I'm glad you have the pretty daffodils to cheer you up. Don't think we've got any sproutings just yet (if so, I've missed it!) but I did notice our Japanese maple by the shed is putting out furry somethings along the branches. I should walk outside, take a closer look. Pretty soon, though we'll be seeing leafouts. We still may get some more cold or ice...Feb & March can be bad months, but not always. TFS & Have a good week. Hugs too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous layouts Faith, super photographs and beautifully displayed.
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks like it is springing into life, it's nice when things start to appear.

What lovely scrapbook pages! Lucky you seeing the flowers showing color! We have some leaves coming up but so far no sign of flowers!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love these layouts Faith!!!! The first one with the mist has amazing photo's on it, so cool that you caught these shots and I love the journaling. The winter morning one is just so beautiful, you caught the cold feeling of winter in this layout. I would have never thought to use that background paper that way, I love it. The sweetest layout is the one of your brother with his great grand daughter, that is just amazing. Nope don't remember seeing this layout of your Sea Cadet, but that means nothing with me. lol Love this layout as well and love that you have a photo of him in his uniform and then one on his boat, love it too! OMGosh, you have bulb flowers coming up already?!! Sometimes we do in Feb or March, but never January. lol Looks like spring is on the way in your neck of the woods! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThe photos are wonderful keepsakes to scrapbook, and I love the design on each layout. What an early start to spring too, but how exciting to see the first flowers of spring pop up from the ground :)
ReplyDeleteGreat layouts Faith and some wonderful photos, such a lovely way to display them xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pages and fabulous photo's.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pages and fab photo's Faith! huggles Sue xx
ReplyDeleteYour pages are just so gorgeous, Faith! And how exciting to see those crocuses emerging, too - I always think that bright yellow is so startling amidst the bleak (mid)winter, and they are such a welcome sight!
ReplyDeleteStay warm and dry!!

Such great and memorable pages faith. Love the layouts and the wonderful photos, great memories. Wow to the crocuses and the impending daffodils. We have had severe frosts this year and I suspect that is going to effect some of our plants up here in Scotland. A lot of the neighbours have put fleeces etc around some of the delicate plants and I've never seen quite so many of them doing it....I think that's an indication x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scrapbook pages full of lovely memories.
ReplyDeleteThe garden looks like Spring, which is still a long time away, but it looks wonderful! Enjoy.
Your daffodils are farther along, but the shoots are showing all around here now, too. I love your layouts! The background for the first one is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteSuch great pages, Faith! Love #3 brother as a Sea Cadet. :-D How fantastic that your crocuses are up already and that you'll have daffodils in no time at all. LOvely photos. Thanks for sharing.
