Sympathy Sprite

Hi Everyone, my card today is for the family of my cousin, who died a last week, a beautiful gentle soul, who I loved a lot, even though we saw her rarely and was 20 years older than me. She had suffered with Alzheimer disease for 6 years, a tragedy for anyone, but I feel more so, of someone so lovely.

This image is exactly how I felt when I heard she had passed. I saw the image HERE and chose it as my favourite card on Morgan's Artworld challenge HERE and had to choose it for this card.

If the card looks a little wavy, it was, because of wet glue, but after gentle persuasion it is now straight.

    Oh Faith what a perfect image for the occasion - you really are so talented. Alzheimers is such a cruel disease, I am so sorry that your lovely cousin suffered with it.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss, Faith! Terrible disease.....makes one mourn twice. Your card is so heartfelt. The little sprite with the tear is just perfect. Beautiful layering!

    I'm so sorry that you've lost your cousin, Faith. I dearly love that image and your color combo is perfect. Thanks for visiting my blog so faithfully while I was away.     I'm so sorry for your loss. This card is beautiful.
    We are dealing with Alzheimer's with my mom and my husband's mom. It's been a test of my patience to say the least.

    So you had to make this card, but it is so wonderful and different from most flowers or tree cards you see.
    Beautiful soft colors and lovely sentiment. Have to remember that one.
