Hippie Birthday

Hi Everyone, while I am able to get into Blogger, I am scheduling a post or 2!

My card for you today, just in time for a friend of ours, is something that came to me after seeing the sentiment, all I had to do is get an image and voilà.  This was that easy! UNTIL it came to colouring, then it was what colours to choose.

I found some digi paper and went with the colours from that, which I think are very 60's / 70's and yes, I am old enough to remember them LOL, I am a frustrated hippie, Mum wouldn't allow me to be like that, I always had to be "classic" style, now I have problems in what style I am, even at my age. I do have a couple of what is called gypsy skirts, that's the closest I get to "hippie" style.

Anyhow here are the details of my card.
sentiment - Create with TLC
Hippie - Dearie Dolls, digitally coloured, print and cut on the Cameo, then 3D'd
dp - etc by Danyale @ Digichick a newsletter freebie
records - MCG_retromania, I don't think they are still available.
3D gloss on his sun glasses
all layered onto black card

  6. OH. MY. GOSH!!! I totally love this card Faith!!! I didn't realize the hippie era went all over the world. lol Just thought it was a States thing, but how cool that we all experienced this era! Uh, those of us who are old enough to remember it that is. lol I had a few pairs of bell bottoms, but that was the extent of my hippy style. I wore a lot of "hand me downs" my mother got from Goodwill so I didn't really have a style or I guess it was my mother's style that she picked for me. lol I don't have a style either now Faith. lol My style is whatever is cheap and looks halfway decent on me! I don't know where you got that sentiment from, but I am loving it!!! Way to fun and cute!! Hugs, Brenda
