A Perfect Pear!

Hi Everyone, today's card is for a challenge that I was told about, the theme being "Fruit". I had SO many choices, but in the end went for an image I love. I MAY even do another, it made such a change of subject.

Image - Meljen's Designs,
sadly no longer available, coloured digitally
background dp - Fontbundles
embossed banner - Tattered Lace EF border
hearts, eyes and stems Anita's 3D gloss.

I thought I would show you the difference in temperatures in a week here, in the shade. the 21st record temp for 40+ years, on the 25th back to British Summer.

  1. What a great image Faith, it's a super card. As for the weather what can I say, our central heating came on yesterday even though the thermostat is turned down really low ( we never turn it off fully even in summer !!)

  2. The cutest of card and love how you've digitally coloured the pears. Brought a happy smile to my face. Yes that sounds about right with the temperatures. It has not stopped raining all day up here in Scotland and I am not exaggerating x

  3. A fabulous card Faith, such a fun image and great design.
Typical British weather, it's quite cold here today but I much prefer this to the temperatures last week.

  5. That's such a fun card, and I didn't even realize Meljen's was no longer making digital images! Cute pair of pears and I like the dsp too! The same temperature fluctuations are going on here in the states too - we usually sit out on the porch in the evenings, but the past 2 nights I got chilly and had to come inside to get warm! LOL Today we're back in the soup again though............the humidity has reared it's uncomfortable head once again and summer is back:)

  7. This is adorable! Wow the temperature is horrible! We hit 103 the other day. Then it rains for one second and leaves the day with high humidity with dry breezes.

A great card Faith. Those pears are so cute. I actually switched the heating on Weds evening...felt so cold. And it's nearly July!!

  12. I knew this was a Meljen's image the instant I saw it, Faith. Fabulous! I keep hoping she'll come back but it's wonderful to see some of them now and then. TFS.
