50th Birthday card

Hi Everyone, the front of my card today was cut out on the Cameo, the first time I used my new sketch pens on a card. I also cut the 50 after I had used them, the sentiment maybe a little big, BUT, I am thrilled with the result, the pens even have a shimmer in them. I forgot to adjust the design, so that the cut was just outside the square line it drew. Another lesson learned, I hope.

I first used the pens, then cut the 50 out, I cut the papers, (Sweet Paris, by Trimcraft) to size and used a corner punch on the spotted paper, (I forgot to add a curved corner to the design cut!) The butterfly was added to the design for the background paper and cut 4 times, 2 layers on each layer of the wings - if that makes sense? to add a little weight. I laid the cut onto the rose paper, added a ribbon and a flat bow and the butterfly. I wanted it as flat as possible to post to Belgium for my Niece. I hope she liked it.
