It's time for the Monthly challenge at
Our wonderful sponsor this month is
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month
Use Pink - a little or a lot
I decided to make a digital card as a former work colleague has just had the news she has a malignant cyst in her breast. I thought I would combine both for this post. I will print and layer the card and send it to her, I have been told she is quite pragmatic about her cyst.
I used the beautiful image toc 007-DS4J from Digitalstamps4joy
papers are from a Tattered Lace free download
the beautiful sentiment is from Create with TLC
the pink ribbon is by JSS Just So Scrappy Designs
Everything laid out in PS following the Mojo sketch #466
the image is digitally coloured in PS.
Beautiful pink ribbon card.

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely card, and I love the sentiment. I think this will be just the right encouragement for your courageous friend, and sending prayers, wishes & hopes that all will be well for her with good medical care. I'm loving these 'ladies' that you've been sharing on your fab cards! TFS & Hugs

ReplyDeleteFelt sure Inhad commented on this one, must have had a senior moment - it's fabulous and such a lovely sentiment x
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of that sketch, my friend, and I love that your background dp has roses to complement the ones on her dress! As a cancer survivor (15 years last month!), I truly appreciate all the pink done in October for BCA. I know your friend will appreciate the sentiment and your support as she faces treatment. Nothing better than a friend who has your back and keeps you in her prayers.
ReplyDeleteOmgosh, this is so pretty. I love the pink ribbon, I am a 21 yr survivor. The papers you chose are gorgeous and the image is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic sentiment and I love the design.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely card. Our family has recently received devastating news and so I know just how much cards and notes really are an encouragement. The verse you included is a perfect one. Prayers to your colleague as she moves forward in her journey of healing. She'll appreciate the time you've taken to let her know you care. xox
