A Daffodil card

Hi Everyone. Yes! a Daffodil card, wrong season. Why? because I saw this card by Darcy and it is linked to an Outlawz challenge. Well I HAD to join didn't I?

I used a "quick page! for the background and 2 half doily dies to place the Cameo cut daffodil on to. I have had the daffodil file for a long while and hadn't got around to using it, you know how it is. I then added a gold Uniball gold glitter pen around part of the petals.

Now to this Season on the 27th Aug, this sky appeared to us, I have never seen a sky around here like this so had to take photos of it, Yep! I know I am mad for skies, love the effects so different all the time. The last 3 are closeups of the cloud formation. The last one includes some collard doves cuddling up together Aw!

  1. Wow, Faith! That is a gorgeous daffodil card! Glad to got to use your cut file for this one. I need to dust my Cameo off and see what I can do. I love the gingham paper in the background and especially love the sentiment! Thanks for showing off this card at the Outlawz, too!!
    Hugs!

  8. Daffodils are my favourite flower - they are 'happy' flowers so I love your card Faith. Those skies look really foreboding and the doves look just like mine do when they cuddle up on our decking rail.

  9. What a beautiful layout and the daffodil at the centre is just perfect.
I kept waiting for the punch line with the cloud pictures after your photoshopped dog one got me!

  10. I commented on the daffodils over on the challenge, Faith, but have to leave you a comment about your incredible sky photos! I can see why you are so fascinated with the clouds. They are so unusual.
