Dragon card

Hi Everyone, I'm still a little sad at Wales losing to Portugal in the Euro Football Cup, but so happy they got so far. Well done Boyo's

My post today is a get well card. I saw a challenge that asked for flag colours, which set my mojo off, it's been in the doldrums lately. I used Morgan's Art Dragon "silvertrace dragon baby in egg" which I had used before as a digital "painting" Here. This time I changed the background colour to suit the challenge. I followed a sketch, (I find it easier) printed the Dragon layer and layered it and added a circle die cut of pearlised card. The white strip is cross hatched card. I added a Tonic die butterfly to balance the sentiment from Create with TLC.

It will go to my Niece who has dislocated and broken her elbow very badly, she lives in England so it will be a bit of Wales for her. I think I will let you know how she did it (in a shortened version). She was getting out of the shower, slipped, went to save herself by putting her hand on the toilet seat lid, the seat lid was up, her arm went into the bend, SNAP! She had 5 hours of surgery and lots of pins and plates to hold her elbow together. Due to the break, she was told after surgery, she has Osteoporosis. Moral of the story ALWAYS put the lid down after using!
Here is my Welsh flag

  8. Absolutely stunning, my friend! Gorgeous colors on the dragon. So sorry to hear about your niece. Will be keeping her in prayers for rapid healing.
I'm doing my best to get caught up on visits now that I'm home from my summer travels but I'm so far behind and have so many visits that the best I can do is to browse through to make sure I haven't missed anything but there just not enough time to leave an individual comment on every post you've done. Sorry - hope you'll forgive. :-D
