White on White

Hi Everyone, I recently saw a Tim Holtz instructions on "false embossing" and so this card was born.

The card was cut with a die and sticky paper laid on the back, I added fine glitter. I'm not sure about the white on white, and feel I should colour the roses, but I resisted. In fact not sure about the card as a whole. Maybe one of those that I attempted and will bin! I added 4 layers of the sentiment, then placed it into the die cut hole in the card, to stand out, and added some crystal netting ribbon I bought, CHEAP, at Christmas.

  5. WOW, Faith, I think it's incredible! I rarely do white on white because I just don't have the knack for it but yours is truly wonderful. I may try the technique you used on the sentiment.
While I'm here, thanks for the suggestion about entering the Digitally Sweet challenge. I've added my dragon card over there. :-D

  9. Don't you dare put this card in the bin! It's a beautifully elegant card - white on white takes some getting used to if you normally work with a lot of colour as you do. I can see a version where the roses could have a little faint blush on them, but I love this as is.
