When I started colouring it (in PS) he reminded me of a Pirate in the film "Pirates of the Caribbean", so that is the theme I went with.
Then started looking at him more and saw that he is a very sorry and sad soul, could be something to do how people look at him with the markings on his face? There are a lot of people going around with tattoos on their faces these days and have that same sad look on their faces. Just my thoughts again! However as the sentiment says, "fearlessly be yourself" isn't it something some of us are afraid to be, I know a couple of people who are going through life not comfortable being who they are. Gosh this image has brought the philosophical side of me, how strange!
Anyhow let's get back to the card, as I said I went with the Pirate theme and when doing a search through my files I came across this sentiment and thought it suited him so well. Then thought he could be on a poster so went with a wall background. I printed and fussy cut all the images, added gold Stickles and 3D gloss to his feather ornaments in his hair, I 3D'd the images.
This image set my mind working in all angles. For that I have to thank SLS lines digi stamps for setting me thinking how people actually feel instead of how they look.
