Warning!

Hi Everyone, My computer is about to die!

I am letting you know I may or may not be posting for a while, only my scheduled posts will go ahead, I have trouble starting my 'puter and my son has been starting it in "Safe Mode" to get it going for me, looks like I will HAVE to have a new one.  UGH! I could do without the expense, but what would I do without it? There are a couple of progressive challenges I would like to carry on with so will try and post them, otherwise I will "see" you when I can.

Anyhow, I will be spasmodic in posts and comments, as I am spending HOURS and HOURS backing up, changing me emails subscriptions, (as I didn't have an on line email address).  My son has found one he would like me to have, but!!!! it costs a bit more than I would have liked. We'll see if they can bring it down somewhat. I never thought I would say it, but I am getting sick of sitting in front of this screen and me a 'puter lover! Just hope I can get it started tomorrow and at least until I get all my work done first. Keep your fingers crossed

    Stupid computers!! I feel your pain, I have one about to go as well so I'm tip toeing around it right now, haha!! My fingers are crossed. hugs :)

    Sorry to hear about your computer Faith. I know how frustrating it can be and I do hope that you can find a way to get a new one. Good luck, holding thumbs and crossing all sorts of limbs....hugs, Ursula. Hope you have a good weekend.

    Fingers crossed for you Faith. As you may remember this happened to me earlier this year and I had the same panic trying to make sure everything was backed up properly before it died. It was a nightmare as was setting everything up on the new one but it was worth it in the end mind you I chickened out and stuck with Windows 7 as I hate Windows 8 on hubby's laptop. Hopefully the new Windows 10 will be better as it is getting good reviews xx

    Oh Faith, having been there myself recently I know exactly how you feel!!! can you not just get a free google email address?? I hope you get a new 'puter sorted soon, Windows 8 takes a bit of getting used to also I found (gulp). Take care, hugs Viv xx
